First Day of Fall

Yesterday, September 22, marked the first official day of fall. Autumn is the time of the primary harvest, with pumpkins and apples taking center stage of the season. Here are some of our favorite ways to celebrate fall:

~Visit a local pumpkin patch to enjoy fall themed activities like apple picking and corn mazes (you can find a directory of local patches here)
~Soak in the changing leaves and crisp air by taking a walk outside
~Host a pumpkin carving contest (see our carving tips here)
~Bundle up and go to a Bears game (see their schedule here)
~Bake an apple pie using apples from a local orchard
