Chicago is known for its great summer festivals and we’re excited about the upcoming Taste of River North Festival right in our neighborhood. Come experience what one of Chicago’s most vibrant neighborhoods has to offer at Taste of River North, July 18-20 in A. Montgomery Ward Park. Located just a few blocks west of Hotel Felix at the intersection of North Kingsbury and West Erie, it’s the perfect weekend activity whether you’re a Chicago native or simply passing through.
Hosted by the River North Residents Association and in its 13th year, Taste of River North combines food, music, and a variety of items for purchase from local merchants.
New to Taste of River North this year will also be the Walmart Healthy Cooking Stage, an exclusive chance to watch Chicago chefs in action and share some of their favorite healthy recipes. The festival is also family-friendly with special activities geared just for kids in the designated “Kids Zone.”
This year Taste of River North is proud to feature cuisine from The Green Door, The Redhead Piano Bar, Stout, and Fannie Mae Fine Chocolates to name a few. Featured music headliners will include Chicago’s own Sixteen Candles and Led Zeppelin 2 on Friday and Saturday night.
Tickets for Taste of River North are $1.00 per ticket, and are available for purchase when you arrive. For more information, head to tasteofrivernorth.com.
