Today is a day to remember the great presidents of our nation and celebrate Abe, George, Thomas… the whole gang! There are all sorts of fun ways to take advantage of this holiday in Chicago. Here are some ideas:
-Head to the last day of the Chicago Auto Show at McCormick Place.
-Take a leisurely skate at the World’s Highest Ice Skating Rink on the 93rd floor of the John Hancock.
-Check out the history of Chicago’s most revered candy makers, including Snickers, Butterfingers at a (free!) exhibit at Harold Washington Library Center entitled “Sweet Home Chicago: The History of America’s Candy Capital”.
