Free Things To Do in Chicago This November

We love Chicago because it’s home to such a diverse group of things to see, eat, drink and do. What’s even better? When these things are free!

Thanks to this article at TimeOut Chicago, we can share some of our favorite things to do for free this month.

Chicago Architecture Biennial – Chicago hosts the architecture biennial every two years, where architecture and design are the focal point for exhibitions, art installations, and events that highlight Chicago. These events continue until Saturday, January 7, 2018.

Christkindlmarket – More than 50 food and beverage vendors attend and offer German and European treats at one of Chicago’s most classic holiday events. There are also handcrafted ornaments and nutcrackers available to purchase. The event opens on Friday, November 17 and will run through Sunday, December 24.

Chicago’s Thanksgiving Day Parade – The event returns on Thursday, November 2017 and will be taking over State Street from 8am through 11am, featuring floats, marching bands and more.

Lincoln Park Zoo Lights: Lincoln Park Zoo’s annual tradition returns on Friday, November 24 and runs every weekend through January 7, 2018. The zoo will feature lights on display and holiday inspired activities throughout the grounds.
